As with our other tours, our Day Trips are fully customizable according to your tour preferences, such as sightseeing, wildlife spotting, hiking, DIY experiential & cultural workshops, hot springs, agro-tourism and much more.

Noboribetsu & Lake Toya
​Day Trip​

The Noboribetsu & Lake Toya Day Trip is one of the best day excursions from Sapporo. Both areas are located in a highly active geothermal region with active volcanoes and hot springs in every direction. We'll visit Hell Valley and its surrounding geothermal sites, ride the ropeway to the crater rim of the active Mt. Usu-zan volcano, bathe at a lake view hot springs and more!

Furano & Biei Flower Fields
Day Trip

The world-famous flower fields and attractions of Furano & Biei is our most popular day trip during the summer months, and for good reason: Fields of lavender, cosmos, sunflowers and more stretch out into the mountain-filled horizon at multiple farms, which are complimented by the fantastic mountain scenery of Mt. Tokachidake.

Shakotan Peninsula & Otaru
​Day Trip

The Shakotan Peninsula & Otaru Day Trip combines the atmospheric port town of Otaru with the rugged, limestone-dotted seascapes of Shakotan Peninsula. We'll walk on the "Dragon's Back" trail at Cape Kamui, enjoy a sea view hot springs bath, take a tour of the Tanaka Sake Brewery and stroll among the boutique shops at Otaru's Sakaimachi Historical District. 

Mt. Tarumae & Mt. Moiwa

The Mt. Tarumae & Mt. Moiwa Day Trip is for mountain lovers who wish to minimize the driving time and maximize their time out in nature. Hike one of Japan's most incredible active volcanoes, stroll along the lakeside promenade at the crater Lake Shikotsu, bathe at a lake-view hot spring visited by emperors and finally Sapporo's  observation tower with the city lights far below. Noboribetsu & Dogsledding
​Day Trip

The Noboribetsu & Dogsledding Day Trip is an action-packed private tour that will be the highlight of your trip to Hokkaido. We’ll start by exploring Noboribetsu’s breathtaking Hell Valley or visiting Marine Park Nixe for the adorable penguin parade. After a quick lunch, we’ll head for dogsledding across snowy fields & forests in a private dogsledding experience. We’ll end this great day with an onsen bath at a special hot springs known for its medicinal qualities.​

Ice Fishing & Dogsledding
​Day Trip

The Ice Fishing & Dogsledding Day Trip includes two incredible winter activities. We’ll start with ice fishing for smelt at Lake Shinotsu, with all necessary fishing gear and a heated hut for your group. In the afternoon, we'll go dogsledding across snowy fields & forests in a private dogsledding experience. Lastly, we’ll end this great day with an onsen bath at a special hot springs known for its medicinal qualities.

Jozankei & Niseko ​Fall Foliage
​Day Trip

Spend the day taking in the stunning and nationally famous autumn nature sites at Jozankei's Hoheikyo Dam and Niseko's Goshiki Hot Springs, both sure to impress in October during the top foliage month. Also included are the Mt. Yotei Scenic Drive and Kyogoku Freshwater Springs, while ending the day at a remarkable onsen with a hot springs lake, indoor and outdoor baths. Furano & Ice Fishing
​Day Trip

We'll start the day with a scenic drive to Furano, where you can choose from a variety of morning activities including snow play, food DIY workshops, gourmet sites & more. After lunch, we'll drive deep into the mountains to Lake Kanayama at one of Hokkaido's best ice fishing locations; all instruction and equipment provided. Any fish caught can be cooked into tempura on the spot! Also included is shopping at local products markets & more. 

Tenninkyo Gorge & Mt. Asahidake
Day Trip​

A day trip for mountain lovers! We'll start with the drive to Daisetsuzan N.P. to explore the breathtaking Tenninkyo Gorge and Hokkaido's highest waterfall Hagaromo Falls. Nearby are the voluminous Asahidake Freshwater Springs, on route to Asahidake Ropeway which will carry us to the famous Sugatami Plateau. The plateau offers highlights in every season, including wildflowers, foliage, snow & more. We'll end the day with a hot springs bath at a historic ryokan.
