2-Day Tour: Snowshoeing, Ice Fishing & Furano
Make the most of your trip to Hokkaido on a private 2-Day tour with us at HNT! We’ll start the tour with a 3 hour drive to the Mt. Tokachidake area of Daisetsuzan N.P - Hokkaido’s deadliest volcano. The two beginner to intermediate level snowshoeing trails lead to steaming sulfur fumaroles and above the tree line, respectively. After snowshoeing, you can choose to dip at the nearby Fukiage Wild Onsen - set in the dense forest - or at the local onsen establishment, with indoor, outdoor, & mixed baths. We’ll spend the rest of the day in Furano visiting gourmet sites, the Ningle Terrace Artisan Village & the small Kan Kan Mura Ice Village. We’ll also have dinner in Furano before checking into a 3/4 star hotel for the night.
Day 2 can start with a DIY food making workshop of your choice, followed by an hour-long guided snowmobiling ride or snow play activities such as tubing, snow rafting & more. In the afternoon, we’ll drive to Lake Kanayama for ice fishing. The lake is ringed by mountains and offers great scenery for ice fishing, where you’ll be provided with a tent, gear & instruction. Any fish you catch will be prepared on-the-spot into a fresh & tasty snack. From here it’s just over 2 hours back to Sapporo, for drop-off at a location of your choice. Join us for an unforgettable private 2-day tour which will be the highlight of your time in Hokkaido!
